yes..there will be heavy drifting.i am planning to use a pll controlled with a pic.. i have procured almost all the components needed for the RX,

But the coils to be wound lacks information in the document also
Is there anyone in this group who has experience with the same kit
Does anybody has the winding details of coils in RECEIVER board..
thaks again Raj and prabhakaran for their replies

HF Dipole

A very basic program for calculating the length of each leg of a 1/2 wave wire dipole antenna. Program good for 1 - 500 MHz, although intended for MF - HF useage. This app does nothing more than the standard 468/freq (MHz) type calculations. It was written for DOS many years ago and ported to Windows. The output shows the 1/2 wavelength and 1/4 wavelength design wire length in feet and meters. This app is probably of no help to experienced antenna designers.

Style: GUI, File size: 46K, zipped, 22K.

Update : Minor improvements made Feb 9, 1999

Current Version is:  2 / 9 / 1999

Hi Ravi,
I read that the BK103 was a rebranded M1.  Here is a link to the BK103 page that has the manual for download:

I hope this is the one you need!

[HamBrewers] Re: 2M VHF

Sandeep ji i have seen Rahul ji 's and Raj ji's suggestions,,i am lucky enough to have all these components with me.I think i must experiment with both Yellow IFT coil and 455 Kc/s ceramic resonators, so that i can evaluate the difference..

But seeing the suggestions from these experienced homebrewers i know ceramic resonator should give better performance..

I dont have the PCB for the RX..so today i am starting the building of IF stage on a vero board..
will update after that..

see you guys

Re: [HamBrewers] Re: 2M VHF

I would have gone with Raz & Rahul's suggestion for ceramic resonater
even better commenly available @ Rs 10 a pair 2pin/3pin, also it's
bandwith can be narrowed using pf fixed or trimmer in series.
