I attended the foundation course conducted by the club G3EFX for 2 hours per week. After a short practical setting up a radio station, connecting the various items, tuning a station, completing two contacts one HF other VHF and bit of practice tests. The final exam was 25 questions in 45 minutes which I completed in 10 mins, I passed.
The results were announced in 15 mins after completing the exam.
The callsign will be alloted in one or two days max 5 working days after the exams.
How's that for speed??
The intermediate exam will be in 4-6 weeks and the callsign will be reissued on successful completion.
