Hi,
I was keen to put the 35kg HV transformer that I had picked to a good use to power my tube linear amp, the secondary AC was 3KV rms
but the tubes are rated for a max of 3KV DC.
One of the solution I was contemplating was either to use a 20amp variac OR use a Bucking transformer. Though these appeared pretty
practical the cost of these ancilliary
