[HamBrewers] Thank you from RSB
Hello All
We acknowledge the overwhelming response for all your inclination & interest to be part of this RSB Silver Jubilee meet
Specially those Old timers & out station Hams from TN , Kerala, Andhra, who travelled all the way to be part of this Celebration
Numerous Thank you messages has been posted on various egroups, Facebook , SMS'es Phone calls etc from all, has indicated that everyone who participated
enjoyed the RSB Silver Jubilee Meet and did not have anything to lose but gain by building friendships, reconnected with those old lost friends.
Eyeball, Eyeball, Eyeball was the main agenda
That’s exactly why we had no stage or dias for VIPs etc to sit and bore us all with long speeches, no tech talks, etc,
We had no honouring, felicitation, handing of bouquets or rose buds, certificates, we don’t pat our own backs unlike in other functions etc
Precious Time for Eyeball was important
"Short & Sweet Agenda ", as a few mentioned
We had the invocation by Hams VU3HBM Deepa & VU3IET Jyothi,
short Welcome address by VU2RKC Pres,
followed by a Story telling by VU2ZAP on how RSB came to be formed etc
A very brief talk by VU2GMN Gopal Pres of ARSI about the IARU and WPC band plans etc
VU2KKZ Raja gave some brief hilarious introduction of the RSB members which was enjoyed by all.
A brief talk DX ham YT7MPB
RF break as it was most awaited by many followed by lunch buffet
After lunch again it was only eyeball, eyeball, eyeball & chit chat etc
Vote of Thanks was by VU2DKV Dash and old timer and non member of RSB
Photography by many, with elaborate photography by VU3DON Singh, please kindly forward me your albums as we plan to combine everything into a DVD for circulation.
On behalf of Repeater Society of Bangalore we wish to thank each one of you for the making this event a grand success with Eyeball and Fellowship
on all counts mentioned.
You have all maintained the dignity and decorum of the Century Club by following the dress code and by conducting ourselves with dignity & respect, not disturbing the Century club activities
Some were skeptical about us opening the RF counter by 11.30 am, but you have all enjoyed the RF, eyeball & fellowship with dignity & respect.
Gods too showered their devine blessings with some rains towards the close of the programme.
Thank you GOD
We thank VU3BLR Vathsa ( member of Century Club ) being kind & courageous enough to arrange Halls and facilities at the CC.
He has expressed his sincere thanks to all participants in upholding the dignity & decorum of CC.
Wish to thank all those who co-ordinated for the RSB meet
VU2QNY Ismail our Net Controller
VU2DPE, VU2GUR, VU3BYD, VU3DON,
VU2TKO, VU3PRH , VU3BLR, VU2PGH, VU3SGX
We also thank all those who contributed graciously towards the RSB projects current & future
Please make all contributions by DD / Chq favoring " Repeater Society of Bangalore "
My sincere thanks to RSB members and especially the following

Hi Ganeshan,
Split Winding 10.7 IFT cores from ROSY-Delhi with five slots are good,
gives more Q, if not with metal dust core...
For large production you also need to look at price...

Re: [HamBrewers] RE: 40M SSB/CW Receiver
Thanks for bringing the board to our VU2RSB silver jubilee eyeball Ganeshan.
Great job and very professional work. Please make it into a kit available to
all the hambrewers to build and have fun!
Folks, Ganeshan has also designed and built cube sat modules and as his
signature work they are very professional! A transceiver kit will be great!
Cheers

Re: [HamBrewers] A really powerful micro-controller development platform for only 5$.
I think I shall use ti's CCS, to start with.
Need to login to download the installation files from the ti site. I
have the login details for ti.com written down somewhere - it is quite
some time since I had visited their site, and I changed computers
since then.
For a start, I intend to drive a graphical LCD with it just to get
familiar with the programming environment.

I ordered two from Element14 india as soon as I saw this mail. Cost me
around Rs. 1200 for two including shipping. They arrived today.
Plugged one into the USB with the included cable and there is an RGB
led drive demo programmed in. It works.
