[HamBrewers] 555 Timer IC designer

 

Designer of 555 timer IC died recently:

My first CPO was with a NE555 (around 1981 ?) using a design from a book by G3VA. 555 was difficult to get at that time (at Trivandrum). VU2NUT Raj managed to get one for me (probably from Bangalore).
