Madhu
I am sorry, I was not accurate when I implied below that you may need to be a member of ARRL. I found out that one does not need to be a member to access ARRL's RFI page. Please try clicking http://www.arrl.org/radio-frequency-interference-rfi and you should be able to read most of the pages listed on it. You may find an answer somewhere there. There is tons of information available there.

QST has published many articles on noise. If you are a member of ARRL you can download them directly. If not you may be able to find a ham who may be a member and he may be able to help you.
